Two Ways to Wear a Mint Trench Dress from Tibi

Oh quarantine shopping. When I arrived in Germany a solid 2 months ago our household goods, furniture, CLOTHING etc had just been packed up and were supposed to be boarding a ship for Germany right after I left which would have meant my wardrobe would have met me in Europe about a month ago. But that was before Coronavirus. We opted to do a ‘shared’ shipping container which meant that a sufficient number of other families had to also decide to ship their lives to Germany in late March of 2020. Good luck. Long story short, I arrived with about 2 suitcases full of WINTER clothing and it would be *roughly* (there still isn’t a final ETA) 4 months before my wardrobe and I were reunited so I decided, it was time to go shopping.

So I decided to go shopping for fabulous, must-have pieces that would stand the test of time in my new ‘soon to be European’ wardrobe. They needed to be high quality (check!) chic (check!) and versatile. What initially drew me to this dress was the rising temperatures here in Germany and yet the need to feel still put together in an easy dress.

2 Ways to Wear a Tibi Mint Trench Dress — Now let’s talk about styling. This dress is gorgeous, it’s a light fabric but with a luxurious feel to it and it is so easy to just wear as is. I love the asymmetrical pockets and the carefree ease with which you can wear it. To complement that nonchalance I added a pair of ASOS sandals, my nod to the Chanel pair taking over the internet these days (alternative tweed pair HERE.) A simple pair of mixed metal chained earrings round out the look and you are ready to take this mint dream of a dress anywhere.
