Casual Friday in (Wannabe) Isabel Marant & Leather Pants

`Leather pants: one of the symbols of Rock & Roll, the easiest way to make an outfit edgy and cool, are also AMAZING in the winter because they are so stinking warm! Ok I may not be able to pull of the Rock & Roll cool factor but Isabel Marant’s latest Spring runway show demonstrated that leather belongs to the futuristic boho chicks in all of us and I couldn’t wait to get on board.

You may have seen an earlier post about Zara knocking off a stunning Isabel Marant jacket (HERE) and after that Zara jacket sold out they promptly released a warmer toned version that I of course snatched up for it’s tummy hiding, thanksgiving friendliness and seem to have not taken it off since. To avoid looking too boho or unoriginal I decided that it needed an edge to it which is wear the Spring ’16 Marant collection became my inspiration. My leather pants may not be silver or have a futuristic vibe (seriously check out that collection here) but the Moroccan meets Moto combination is definitely there. I added a wester bootie also inspired by a previous Isabel Marant collection and voila, the perfect comfy-chic weekend outfit that will keep you warm and let you eat as much as you want.
