Carats and Coffee
*Disclosure* This post was sponsored by JTV. I was paid for this post and received JTV jewelry pieces as compensation I am a bit of a cliche when it comes to living in Seattle and loving coffee, I can drink up to 5 cups per day and on average never consume less than three before the day is through. When it comes to espresso I am picky as well, the milk has to be steamed just right with nice fluffy foam otherwise what is the point? There is one thing though that I love just as much as coffee and it happens to also be a perfect accompaniment to it: jewelry.…

Spring Transitions with a PAWS Graphic Tee
One of my favorite things about fashion is its versatility especially when it comes to your expressing your mood. Fashion can be serious, bold, playful and downright outrageous. In the endless winter we seem to be having it’s that playfulness that I have been craving. A Weather Proof Easter Outfit
This Spring has been one for the books with Nor’easters and freezing temperatures all around the US. I am guilty of packing away my winter clothes at the first sight of 65 degrees and as a result I have been facing the problem of what to wear as the temperatures fluctuate across the board. Easter is supposed to be a holiday accompanied by Spring flowers and sunshine so here’s how I am tackling the paradox of dressing for the upcoming Spring holiday when the weather still feels like winter. My solution is the ever-versatile maxi dress. In a floral print it feels like Spring but with a long sleeve and…

Embracing #MYSeattlestyle
One of the things I love about social media is its ability to spark conversation. I recently did a post on Instagram asking if where people live, specifically calling out living in Seattle, changes the way people dress. The resulting discussion was not what I was expecting. The general consensus was that most people dress down and don’t feel confident wearing what they really want when getting dressed in Seattle. Conversely when everyone travels they love dressing up for the bigger city they are visiting because it’s more acceptable. When I looked at my contribution to the discussion I had admitted to being less bold in my style when going…
