A Very Seattle Wedding: The Corson Building
My husband and I got married this past November at the Corson Building in Georgetown, a restaurant very near and dear to our hearts. We had the entire location to ourselves and our small party of 37 friends and family and we had an evening we will never forget. The focus for us was really on having a large family dinner that was comfortable, delicious and filled with laughter. We were lucky enough to have an amazing evening that was just that and now my husband and I are enjoying the rest of our lives together. Here are some of my tricks for incorporating a summer favorite: the tiered maxi skirt, into your winter wardrobe. This outfit was decided upon as I stared longingly into my closet at this brilliant ASOS maxi skirt (currently on sale) that was one of my favorite summer staples with a band tee and a great pair of boots. To transition this into the colder weather I needed a few things: a warm top and a way to keep…

Layering is and will always be a huge part of fashion, a way to add an interest to a look through your styling. This year’s white shirt trends are perfect for layering however they are anything but basic. Sleeves have been a major focus lately with bell sleeves, flared sleeves and ruffled sleeves dominating every corner of the fashion world. With a simple button up this sleeve detail can have a big impact. In today’s particular white shirt the cuffs of the sleeves are oversized creating…
