Paris Fashion Week: ‘We Should All Be Feminists’
Paris fashion week is coming to a close and I have a confession to make: Paris is by far my favorite Fashion Week City season after season. Paris is for the purists, those who want their thoughts about what is fashion to be challenged, who want to be the first to witness the change even if we aren’t ready to adopt it. Balenciaga, Givenchy, Dior, Celine: these houses that aren’t just labels and while quite a bit of creative direction has been juggled lately each season seems to be a quest to redefine what fashion is through their own lens while remaining true to the original founder’s vision. If you…

Milan Fashion Week: Classic Heritage Style with a Twist
Milan Fashion week started out with a bang, or a splash or whatever you would like to call the runway magic that is Alessandro Michele’s Gucci collection. While Gucci has certainly been bringing extravagant style to the runway the aesthetic in Milan is usually slightly more muted, very classic and timeless. That being said, some of the hottest fashionistas in Italian fashion lately also happen to be some of the most cutting edge. In…

So far this year, Blogger Not Billionaire has featured an evening dress over a sweatshirt (HERE) as a more avante garde way of wearing this trend showing that fundamentally the trend is about unconventional layering rather than the actual type of shirt or dress you are layering. Today however we are going full on 90s with a short slip dress and a fitted Brandy Melville t-shirt. I loved putting…

London Fashion Week Inspired OOTD & The Fanciest Overalls Ever
London fashion week is one of my favorite weeks each fashion season. There is something about British style that is unself-conscious and incredibly appealing. From staples, like Vivienne Westwood to the cutting edge, like JW Anderson, experimentation is encouraged. The aesthetic isn’t a set one, drama and pushing the envelope are the norm but at the same time no one is trying to hard, it just comes naturally. In the spirit of London Week’s devil may care attitude we have today’s voluminous blouse fits the bill being both feminine and completely over the top (oversized all over lace with ruffles anyone?) Similarly have you ever met a pair of overalls…
