The Burberry Poncho Blanket Coat: The Best Knock-Off Around
Clearly I am not the only one who is enamored with Burberry’s fall poncho, it seems you all are as well, as is the fashion world at large. Friends of mine who don’t even follow Runway shows or Ready-to-Wear collections know exactly what the Burberry Wrap looks like. So you will have to excuse my exhausting of the topic as I already did a post on how to make your own Burberry inspired poncho out of a scarf (see that post here) but I wasn’t just content with making my own, I wanted an almost identical replica. Except for my embroidered initials *working on that* and a slight length difference…

How to Dress Like a French Fashion Blogger
Surprise I am French! Oui Oui!… Okay I am not French I am 100% American however who doesn’t daydream every time they see Charlotte Gainsbourg, Emmanuelle Alt or watch an Audrey Hepburn movie that they were at least a little bit French? France is clearly romanticized in film and has been for some time (Ah Paris…) but no one can question the fashion chops of these French citizens. Black Friday: The Day and the Outfit
Black Friday: The ominous US unofficial holiday where we all are supposed to be inspired by ridiculous deals to buy all of our Christmas presents/spend all of our pay checks in one day. I love electronics as much as the next person, but I never have wanted to or tried to use this ‘magical’ day in order to score massive deals on a TV or computer or what have you. Let’s face it, all I really care about is clothing. Until recently I feel like the major retailers haven’t exactly played ball with Black Friday leaving me ho-humming as I wander around a mall feeling like I can’t justify purchasing…

All About the Blazer: Mint-Oreo Style
Nordstrom Blazer similar here, White Blouse Similar, Mint Trousers Similar, Shoes & Bag Zara Ah the Statement Jacket, in this instance, The Blazer: A few weeks ago I did a post addressing the fact that yes, even I have to dress like in a more traditional office appropriate manner every now and again. Granted I love turning a classic look on its head and causing people to quizzically squint their brow at my outfit but every now again presenting a perfectly polished look can have an equivalent amount of impact. I may kid about the colors in this outfit but at the end of the day it is nothing but…

A Little Bit of Croc
Lovers + Friends Dress here, Oversize Collar Coat similar (different color but FANTASTIC here), Pendant Necklace here, Grey Boots old, similar here Ah Fall, it is officially here. As the leaves turn and the wind gathers steam it has finally become hat, scarf and boots season, yet I cannot seem to give into leg wear quite yet. This explains the 90% to Fall outfit today where I took a more evening-esque dress and played it down for a more casual fall appropriate situation. (Insert hat, boots and warm coat here.) My darling sister got married this last weekend so I am a bit less on the ball this week as…
