Happy National Tea Day: The Incredible Sketch London
It’s National Tea day in the UK today and what a better way to celebrate than with a review of the most amazing High Tea I had ever had at Sketch in London. We happened to arrive in London just in time for Mother’s Day so we signed up for the Mother’s Day tea. Unbeknownst to us this meant a multiple hour decadent affair that was anything but just tea. We had to walk for quite a bit prior to getting there so the planned outfit was practical with a touch of whimsy: Sneakers, a pair of culottes and of course the fun bit: a cropped bow top over a…

Where to Stay We had the pleasure of staying at the Mondrian London hotel at Sea Containers, a beautiful boutique hotel located on the Southbank right on the Thames river. The location was excellent, we could…

Mind you if you are like us and you stop there on the weekend you are likely to find quite a few tourist (we were ourselves tourists so to my point..) but it is absolutely worth the visit. Shops are plentiful and on a sunny day the street is like a candy store for your eyes, the perfect backdrop for a sweet and sassy look from ASOS. More of the neighborhood itself will be covered in the upcoming London trip recap but for now we can all just…

Escaping to Warmer Climates: A Seattleite’s Take on Her First Traveling Warm Weather Fall
Happy November! Every year I watch Seattleites complain about our Fall/Winter grayness and talk about their planned escapes to warmer climates but I had never actually partaken in this season migration until this year. To level set, none of my travels had any motivation around the weather however in the past month I have found myself getting a tan in Arizona and now central Mexico while my contemporaries brave the rain and the wind and of course the crisp fall air of Washington. Another thing you should know, I LOVE the Fall season in Seattle. As a born and bred Washingtonian I love the first week I get to pull…
