An Afternoon with Kroger + A Fantastic Contour Palette
Two weeks ago I had the privilege of attending a Kroger Beauty event at the beautiful Sole Repair shop in Capital Hill. We had amazing food, beverages and beauty pampering sessions. It’s always great to connect with other bloggers especially under such luxurious circumstances. I got my nails and makeup done and absolutely fell in love with the Maybelline Master Contour Palette that Kori from @Chromatiquesalon used on my face. I felt like I was glowing! This past week I popped into my local Fred Meyer store and there it was! The palette of my dreams just ready for me to take home along with all of my other grocery…

Life Update: A Month off and What’s Next
It has been just under a month since I wrote my last blog post. Just under, because I actually published it late for reasons I am about to discuss. For the month of May I took my first ever ‘intentional’ month off from blogging in over 4 years. I wish I could say it was for ‘self-care’ or relaxing, but it wasn’t. It was out of pure need and a bit of desperation, but all is well that ends well. For those of you who don’t know, last year in March when I quit my day job to pursuing blogging full time. My husband and I already owned one business…

Carats and Coffee
*Disclosure* This post was sponsored by JTV. I was paid for this post and received JTV jewelry pieces as compensation I am a bit of a cliche when it comes to living in Seattle and loving coffee, I can drink up to 5 cups per day and on average never consume less than three before the day is through. When it comes to espresso I am picky as well, the milk has to be steamed just right with nice fluffy foam otherwise what is the point? There is one thing though that I love just as much as coffee and it happens to also be a perfect accompaniment to it: jewelry.…

4 Must Have Coats: The Aviator Coat
When I got invited to attend a gala this season in Seattle the first thing I thought of was the dress I would wear. The second thing was the coat I would throw over the top. I knew from the get go that in order to feel confident I would need to ‘Rebecca-ify’ a fancy gown look so that I felt 100% myself in it. That coat was a faux leather, shearling lined Monki Aviator coat from ASOS and it was perfect. It’s the holiday season and to be completely honest I already have a few extra winter layers on, if you know what I mean. The stress of juggling…

Vintage Vacation Vibes: Unleash Your Inner Retiree
Vintage clothing and trends are unmistakably having a moment right now as mainstream retailers like Zara create ‘vintage inspired’ pieces and style them like they came from your favorite 70’s, 80’s or 90’s movie. I also LOVE when a new trend gives you such specific references as to where it came from that you instantly know how to wear it. Take for example today’s trend Vintage Vacation Vibes trend: it’s one part Man Repeller, three parts retiree from South Beach and 100% a blast to wear. Let’s start with the hat. Wide-brimmed hats had a major moment the past few years and while the ‘trendiness’ of them on their own…
