A Weather Proof Easter Outfit
This Spring has been one for the books with Nor’easters and freezing temperatures all around the US. I am guilty of packing away my winter clothes at the first sight of 65 degrees and as a result I have been facing the problem of what to wear as the temperatures fluctuate across the board. Easter is supposed to be a holiday accompanied by Spring flowers and sunshine so here’s how I am tackling the paradox of dressing for the upcoming Spring holiday when the weather still feels like winter.
My solution is the ever-versatile maxi dress. In a floral print it feels like Spring but with a long sleeve and long hem it can work for the colder seasons as well. It can easily transition from a vacation with sandals to winter with a pair of boots and the latter is how I am styling this dress for Easter this year. I paired it with one of the trendiest bags of the season: the belt bag and a vest to give it more of a polished look. If your weather turns really sour you can always swap the vest for a warmer or more weather proof coat.
